I am a licensed nurse practitioner who provides integrative medical visits that combine mainstream recommendations with a holistic approach to health. My eclectic perspective has roots in primary and urgent care, training in botanical, functional and mindbody medicine and decades of listening to people’s stories. Believing there is no one size fits all approach to health, I weave together many threads to create a customized plan of care.
Functional Medicine & Personalized Integrative Care
The Initial Medical Visit
The first appointment includes going over the comprehensive intake questionnaire, identifying priorities and exploring your unique situation. The visit may include:
exploring current symptoms and concerns from an integrative and functional medicine perspective, identifying treatment options and recommendations for next steps or
a general physical exam, making diagnoses, discussing labs, prescribing medication, ordering tests and making referrals within a holistic framework or
preparation for a comprehensive Functional Medicine Plan in the second visit.
Labs
You can choose to obtain new labs before your Initial Visit or bring previous results to discuss or receive a lab order during the visit.
Follow Up Visits
Follow up visits depend on the individual’s needs and preferences. Most clients choose to schedule a second visit within a few weeks to receive a comprehensive Functional Medicine Plan that includes information and recommendations presented visually in a matrix and timeline and a summary of their story. Some clients are more interested in a periodic wellness discussion and choose to work on recommendations on their own, following up when it makes sense for them.

Some people have chosen to book a massage to meet me and talk before scheduling a medical appointment.
Cost for the Initial Visit is $200 (sixty minutes in length)
Clients pay for each appointment they schedule, with no program or membership costs. HSA cards can be used but insurance is not accepted for payment.
Cost for Follow Up Medical Visits:
$150 Sixty minute follow up medical visit (in person or online)
$75 Thirty minute follow up medical visit (online only)
Some people start with a Medical Visit but also utilize Health Coaching visits between medical appointments. Details about different options can be discussed during an appointment.
My goal is to provide creative and personalized integrative care to address current concerns and help prevent future illness. I do this by listening and considering everyone’s situation uniquely, by looking for root causes in both body and mind and by providing recommendations that are rooted in science and belief in the vis medicatrix, the wisdom of the body to heal itself.
